For context, I'm a permit with IATSE 58 in Toronto.

I had called on June 1st to see if there was any work, and that got me a pretty steady stream of work for 2ish weeks (rehersals, load in/load outs, and set up).

I wasn't available for a gig around mid-late june when they called, and I haven't heard from them since. I'm working Toronto Fringe right now, but once it's done, I'm thinking of giving IATSE 58 a call to say I'm available to work the rest of the summer. Could calling once a month be considered improper etiquette?
