Help with stroller decision in Kitsilano Vancouver [BC]
We will be first time parents in the new year and went stroller shopping today (so overwhelming!). We went to west coast kids to check out what we previously thought to be our preferred stroller, the Uppababy Cruz V3 but they had just received a floor module for the new Kona model and were having second thoughts. Our main concerns are about storage space since we live in a small apartment in the city, portability so that my wife or I can move stroller in/out of the trunk of our car, and then also walking in gravel.
The gravel thing is a big consideration since we often walk along Kitsilano or Jericho beaches and have heard how some strollers don't handle that well but in my opinion the Vista is too big and heavy for our needs currently.
Does anyone have experience with the Cruz or thoughts on the Kona with city walking and some light trails (pacific spirit park) or gravel by the beaches?
For car seat we're thinking the Nuna Pipa and possibly looking to get a ring adapter for the stroller. I hear you can get the ring adapter in the US instead of the two arm adapters they have here. It was much lighter than the uppa baby car seats.
Any advice or experience is appreciated!
