26 [F] Oklahoma- Looking to start slowly online
Hi! This is a first for me, but I think it’s worth a shot. I’m looking for genuine connection and friendship- I truly believe the basis of a good romantic relationship is friendship! I also believe real connections can be made online, so I’m open to starting a conversation with anyone from around the world!
A bit about me: I’m an introverted person, but I open up around people I know and trust. Full disclosure: I’m a little awkward, (especially at first), but when I do click with someone it’s very genuine. My interests are all things geeky. I love reading, (anything by J.R.R. Tolkien is my favorite, currently working on Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson), good movies (fantasy/sci fi are my favorite), and anything that gets my creative juices flowing. I especially love animation. There are a few anime I really enjoy and I’m open to more suggestions! Demon Slayer is my current favorite. I’m also trying to get into cosplay as well, so bonus if you have any experience with that!
While I don’t play video games much myself, I like to watch play throughs of good story games like RDR2, God of War (new games), Cyberpunk, etc. So if you enjoy games like those, great!
I also like to stay active and take care of myself. I eat decently, drink tons of water and invest in skincare. I don’t smoke or drink, either.
As for other interests, I absolutely love nature and enjoy learning in general. I’d love to travel more and experience new things. I’m a bit of a bleeding heart when it comes to animals, especially “unlikable” ones like snakes and bugs-I will always save the spider in a cup.
Another thing about me is that I love horses and take riding lessons weekly! I do not own a horse, but they bring me true joy to be around. I’m also a cat person, if anyone relates!
I’m also Christian, but I do not currently attend a church and I’ve been deconstructing/ reconstructing some of my beliefs on that. I’m very open to good dialogue on that topic.
What I’m looking for is a guy on a similar wavelength as me who I truly connect with- someone who is up for adventure but can also appreciate peaceful quiet moments at home. I love conversations about art, media, science, geek stuff etc. and would love to find someone who does as well!
Ideally, I’d like someone around the ages of 23-33, but I can go a little older if the connection is genuine. If you would like to send a picture of yourself, you can! I’m very careful about posting pictures online, so I’d like to get to know you a little before I send any of myself. I can give you a quick physical description if you’d like.
What I value most is empathy, kindness, and a willingness to better oneself and grow. These are the traits I personally strive for everyday. I should also mention that I am not into causal sex- this is one of the Christian values I still hold onto. If you want something of a sexual nature, no judgement here! I’m just not what you’re looking for :)
My goal is to start a friendship that turns into something more, but if it doesn’t end up that way that’s fine too, I’m down for making more friends!
