Yes it's a reunion fic and there will be some angst. But anyone see El in these lyrics?

Okay I am writing notes and planning out a reunion fic that is inspired by both Persuasion and Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (the book not the film) and it does involve a romantic rival (A Supermodel-esque Dolores Umbridge type like in EOR) who is going to worm her way to Mike and feed his doubts about a relationship with El and acts like Miss American Sweetheart to everyone but will be bitchy to El and Max (seeing them as frumps).

There will be a part where this girl demands to know from Mike (and in front of Nancy), what the hell does he see in El?

How do you think Mike would deal with such a girl and how would he respond?
