My boyfriend and i are taking our 5-year old daughter to Arguineguin for a week during summer vacation, its her first time outside the country, even the first time on a plane! We are all so excited, we’re staying in my cousin’s vacation home.
But..
I’ve seen a lot of reels lately from Spain about how tourists are ruining the country and everyone hates them.
I really don’t want to be the kind of tourist that the locals hate. We have a big tourist-problem where we live, with airbnb ruining the housing market, prices are ridiculously rapidly rising, and so on.

Do any locals have any tips for how to not annoy locals?🥲 We will ofc act like normal humans, but we are aware that cultures are all different and that can cause “normal behavior “ for us to be extremely annoying to you (know from experience bc of the tourism here)

We are Norwegian btw, if that tells you anything about our cultural “normal”
