Im trying to setup my papermc minecraft server on bedrock using geyser and playit. I was able to get the java server running using playit but the bedrock wont work. Whenever i try to play it, it just says i was unable to connect.
I followed this tutorial exactly: https://geysermc.org/wiki/geyser/playit-gg/ yet it still doesnt work.
I tried everything under the sun atp but whenever i try to remote connect to my server using ubuntu from my pc, the error message saying “port 22: connection refused” pops up. I tried reinstalling openssh on both machines, i tried allowing ssh using ufw, and i tried restarting both machines. Sometimes the “port 22: connection timed out” error also pops up. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Im trying to run a papermc server on AMP server hosting. I can't seem to get it to work because every time I start up the server with papermc this error message pops up in the console:
"Starting org.bukkit.craftbukkit.Main
Unsupported Java detected (25.0.3-ea). You are running an unsupported, non official, version. Only general availability versions of Java are supported. Please update your Java version. See https://docs.papermc.io/paper/faq#unsupported-java-detected-what-do-i-do for more information."
Im running the server on a dell optiplex 3070 with ubuntu as the operating system. I tried almost everything to fix this issue. I tried rebooting the server and reinstalling java multiple times. I also tried just downloading java 25 and not any of the patch updates but AMP didnt recognize it as java for some reason. If anyone can help please let me know.
