Hi all,

Finally today my status shows as card is being produced. i765 ead status updated to “New card being produced.”
I had got a job offer mid July and pushed the start date to July 27th and finally got to move it to Aug 10.
Today, I was about to give up that I cannot join, but the status showed up like this.

I cannot ask extra time since they have waited for me this long and already have a backup candidate in place. I have to join or let go of no other option. Can I join on Monday 10th since the status is card is being produced or is it too risky for me. My everify shows I’m eligible to work, I can push a week for i9 form hoping I get a card in a week.

What would you suggest? Join on Monday or send a mail I cannot, no option of extra time that’s for sure.

Timelines as follows:

Standalone H4 & EAD - Applied Feb 8

Premium bundle H1b, H4 & EAD - Applied June 10

H1 and H4 approval both Pp and standalone - June 22

Biometrics - actual June 30, rescheduled to June 24rd

After multiple expedite requests

Multiple emails to premium processing units

Raised senate congressional support - still waiting for reply

There is no change in the status,
Standalone still shows as Case received
Bundle shows as biometrics appointment scheduled

What do I do? I have moved my start date couple of times now and now left with no more reason to move. I am lost since 8 months. It’s been one of the baddest and stressful year of my life.

Please suggest and help with your success stories or idea!

I filed my H-4 and H-4 EAD concurrently with my spouse’s H-1B under premium processing.
Timeline:
June 10: H-1B, H-4, and H-4 EAD filed
June 22: H-1B and H-4 approved
June 23: Completed biometrics for my H-4 EAD
Current status: Still shows “Biometrics Appointment Was Scheduled.”
I recently reached out to the Premium Processing Unit and received a response saying my case is undergoing “additional review” and that adjudicative action will be taken once the review is complete.
The reason I’m concerned is that I may receive a job offer with a start date around July 29. I’m worried I won’t receive my EAD card in time and could lose the opportunity because I’m unable to start work without it.
Has anyone had a similar timeline? How long did it take to receive your approval or EAD card after biometrics? Is there anything else I can do to help expedite the process?
Any experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I really need suggestion and help! Lost job in Jan on H1b and had to move to H4. Filed H4 and EAD in Feb and didn’t hear anything for a while.
My spouses renewal came up and we filed a premium bundle on June 11 and the H4 petition along with the previous H4 applied in Feb got approved on June 23rd.
However, for H4 EAD new application biometrics was scheduled and I rescheduled to earlier date and completed. Theres no update since and the status shows “Biometics appointment scheduled.”

Has anyone had similar experience,

1. By when can I expect a EAD card in hand after biometrics?
2. Since the case for H4 got approved together, would the EAD begin immediately.
3. Are there ways we could expedite the process. I tried calling USCIS but there’s been no solution.

Please suggest and help! Job loss has been very hard on me and there’s few interviews lined up after several attempts, I don’t want to lose it.

Going by the recent posts and activities I feel the snow has already melted and there’s so many wildlife sightings. Want to make the most of it, is it still a good time to visit!
