I recently completed my initial screening call at State Farm for an IT role. It went well until there was the sponsorship question. I explained my experience and she asked me few questions. She said i’m well suited for this role. Then next round would be last one and explained about what i might expect. Everything was okay until then. They haven’t mentioned anything about sponsorship in the job description. As per my situation, i’m on OPT EAD. So, i said i do not need sponsorship. I can work without any sponsorship for now. I’m not sure if i messed up or not. She said it might affect my application and they are looking for someone who doesn’t require any sponsorship now or in future. But she said she might have to pull through some records and see if i can go for the next round. She said she will reach out to me. I just wanna know what are my chances of going to the next step?? Or would they reject me because of my visa situation??

I applied for a Data Analyst role. So, does State Farm offer Sponsorship for IT roles generally??? I specifically did not see them mentioning this in the job description. Usually for other roles it was clearly stated though. Let me know if anyone knowss??

Hi all, i have applied to a business analyst position at state farm and then i got an on demand Hirvue AI interview. I submitted it. After that they reached out to me saying that my profile is best suited for Data Analyst role. They asked me if I’m interested. I said yes and they sent me 30 min interview invitation. During the call she mentioned that they wanna know more about me. This is my first interview and i’m scared. Is it like an initial screening call? Can anyone let me know what questions i might expect?? Anything that could help me for the interview?

I applied for a Business Analyst role at StateFarm around june 2 nd week and then i received an email around july last week to take my Hirevue on-demand interview. I gave the interview. But I couldn’t see any update of the status in the portal. It still says “interview sent” from the beginning. It’s been more than week. Does anyone know how long it takes for the next step or the status update?? Anything that might help me about the process??
