Hello all, I am 27 years old and work in insurance and do not like my industry and want a career change. I always wanted to join healthcare, and have been very interested in LVN bridge route to RN. To anyone who made the switch in later twenties, did you regret it? I have 100k or so saved up right now. Going to be tough to make living conditions work right now working part time but I think I can do it. Was it worth the hardship of putting your life on hold? Do you recommend spending more for private and the premium of a speedy course, or taking local adult school route? Thank you all.

Hello all, I’m 26 years old needing some advice. I have been a personal lines account manager for 2 years now at an independent broker, make about 65k a year in CA. I’m at a crossroad, as the owner is a family friend who I respect and he took a chance on me. I recently got my ARM and CPCU, and I know AI is likely to disrupt personal lines in the future. Commercial position likely wouldn’t open in my office for another 2-4 years I would guess. I want to stay loyal to my company as I do like it although another part of me wants to get into commercial UW, AM, or even claims. If you’re in my position what would you do?

Hello all, I’m a 26 year old working in personal lines for 2 years as account manager. I am interested in looking toward Underwriting, Commercial AM, or commercial claims. I like where I work, but the pay isn’t great in personal and no opening in commercial. It’s a small indep broker. My boss Is really good guy who I know personally, I basically have all the freedom in the world. I just received my CPCU and have my ARM as well. If you were me would you leave and try to break into UW? I want to be loyal to my company, but UW seems like where I want to go someday. Now that I have CPCU, what would you do if you were me?
