Hi everyone! I know this is a bit of an unusual request, so I’ll try to explain it properly. 😅

I’m a single mom traveling to Cebu with my toddler from September 24–27 to celebrate his birthday. I’m actually Cebuana, born and raised in Cebu, so I’m not unfamiliar with the place at all. 😅 I’m currently living outside Cebu and will just be visiting for this trip, so I’m very familiar with Cebu, the areas we’ll be going to, and how to get around. Sweto jud ko sa Cebu. 😂

The reason I’m looking for a male helper/yayo is pretty straightforward. We have a very small family, and unfortunately, I don’t have anyone available who can come with us. My baby is already quite big/heavy for his age, and while I can absolutely take care of him myself, having an extra pair of hands during a full day of traveling and activities would make things significantly easier for me.

I’ll be covering food, transportation, accommodation, and the necessary expenses. You don't necessarily have to stay with us at the hotel either. The main thing I need is someone who can accompany us during our planned activities and help whenever I have my hands full.

And just to make this VERY clear: this is strictly SFW. This has absolutely nothing to do with dating, romance, or anything sexual. I'm looking for a temporary travel/childcare helper, nothing more and can pay you on a daily basis rate.

Ideally, I'd prefer someone who is:

• Male and comfortable around toddlers
• Patient, responsible, and reliable
• Physically capable of helping with a toddler when necessary
• Comfortable walking and traveling for several hours
• Good with children (specifically to 1 baby boy only)
• Respectful of boundaries
• Punctual and dependable
• Able to communicate well and follow an itinerary

I’m not looking for someone to replace me as a parent. I will still be fully responsible for my child. I mainly need an extra pair of hands with things like carrying/handling my toddler when necessary, helping with bags, keeping an eye on him for a moment while I handle something, and generally making the trip easier.

And before anyone worries about the obvious: I am very aware that meeting someone from Reddit and having them around my child requires serious consideration. My child's safety and my own safety are my absolute top priorities.

I won't be casually giving out sensitive information or immediately agreeing to meet anyone. I would want to properly talk first, verify who I'm dealing with, establish boundaries and expectations, and ideally have a video call before making any arrangements. I'd also make sure that everything is clear on both sides before the trip.

I know Cebu very well, I know the places we're going to, and I'm not looking for someone to plan or organize the trip for me. I already have everything planned. I simply need another responsible adult who can help me physically and practically while we're out with my toddler.

I'm posting here first because I thought it would be better to find someone through a community rather than randomly looking elsewhere.

Also, if anyone knows of other Cebu communities where a post like this would be more appropriate, I’d genuinely appreciate recommendations. I'm particularly interested in communities where people are looking for legitimate childcare, temporary work, travel assistance, or local helpers, not dating/N/SFW communities.
