EA Sports NHL 27 Highest Ranking Forwards.

I mean, its only a video game. And Yes, McDavid is 99. But to get there he has the same Defensive Awareness and Higher Stick Checking then Aleksander Barkov. Three time Selke award winner Barkov.

McDavid has never even been a finalist....

Police will be enforcing fare payment on Saskatoon Transit this fall: City

So. There is a massive meth and fentanyl problem, police drive by and ignore all the users even witnessing them using first hand, but they have extra police to spare for Transit fare enforcement. Basically, you haven't paid $3, get off the bus...

For this they requested an 8.6% budget increase in 2026??? Way to solve the city problems. Money would be better used on plastic rocks.

Intersection of 71st and Idywyld to have medians installed for 3 months

I think this is applying a band aid on an amputation. 14 years ago I worked for a company that has a lay down area on 71st street. It was company policy then, that no equipment or company vehicles ever use that intersection as it was too unsafe. Don't think that has changed in recent years either, especially after yesterday.

West Jet Flight Attendants strike Affecting YQR/ YXE

The mods of Regina removed my original post and it was cross posted from there. I do not know why it was removed as it pertains to west jet employees being contract employees only at Saskatchewan airports. If this was Calgary, Edmonton or Vancouver, I would not have made the post as those employees are full west jet employees and can rebook flights, hotel rooms, etc. An Important distinction.

Original post.

"Don't go to the airport if your travel plans are in anyways impacted by this. The West Jet employees at YQR/ YXE are contract employees. They can't do anything for you in regards to changing flights, booking hotel rooms etc. In fact when things go south here, they put on jackets to cover their uniforms and go in the back to hide. All they can do is check bags, print off boarding passes, and work the gate. That's it.

And, this probably shouldn't need to be said but don't bother the Air Canada employees about this. They have no more information then you do. But you would be amazed at how common sense goes out the window when people are stuck at the airport. Just use the WJ app on your phone or the website, or call the number they provided."

Also this right here.

Outdoor Security Cameras/ Company for our climate

Ok backstory. Had the swat team in my back yard a few years ago, targeting the house across the street. 14 year old drug dealer had his moms house rental shot up. Decided maybe I should get some cameras. I did absolutely no research and bought a three camera Arlo system from Visions on sale. Rechargeable, easy to install, good app, no wiring required. Fast forward to winter, cameras not working and looked at the specs. Operation range from 50C to -20 C. Well that's no good.

Also the free subscription on the app had expired, started wanting $32 a month for full use. By this time I had already added a doorbell camera.

Last week, the doorbell camera wifi failed. Cannot connect it to anything. Bluetooth finds it, but refuses connection, even to a hotspot on my phone. So, I am thinking I really am done with this system.

Anyone know of what wireless outdoor cameras can be used here up until at least -35, have night vision capabilities, and a reasonably priced or even free app to us them?

Would Securetek or another Regina company be good to consider for a monthly rate? I mean if I was paying $32 just for the app, to rent the cameras from them and pay $50 or $60 a month would be a no brainer. Especially if they provided a full wired installation.

Wife's phone and our internet are also on Sasktel.

Selling a AD&D collection by Consignment. Anyone in Regina who does this?

As above. I have decided to purge all the old stuff I have collected over the years. First of all , my old computer and video games. That is easy enough to sell individually on Ebay. But I am wanting to sell my DND collection as well, and I don't know where to start. I have probably about 20 hard cover books from 1st and 2nd editions, multiple box sets, and maybe 100 modules. As well as pewter figurines and dice. To list every item on ebay and sell it, might take years. Most of it I collected from the early 80's to the early 1990's. And accordingly, the early 80's stuff probably still has the occasional shreddie from breakfast on random pages.

Is there any place in Regina that I can bring this too, they can discern a value for, and sell on my behalf? Not sure what a proper fee would be to have this done? 20%? Anyone have an idea whom I can talk to at least?

Edited to add. I got bored of taking pictures.

Starting June 23rd, Air Canada no longer accepting Debit Cards as payment at YQR

As above. Guess West Jet has been this way for awhile, but to pay for a flight in person or luggage fees you will have to use a credit card starting tomorrow.

Just wanted to put that out as an FYI

Bone in Dry ribs in Regina

Originally from Saskatoon here, and miss the bone in dry ribs that places like Cheese Toast and Venice House had. And looking at older posts here, and they all seem off. Suggestions like Houston's, and ask for the bone in ribs, when they aren't even listed on the menu anymore. Just regular deep fried bone in ribs. Any suggestions where I can get them?

Incidentally everyone who advertises breaded pork loin as a boneless rib probably uses beef in their Shepherds pies as well.
