what to do with red faded brows

i got my brows done about 4 years ago, the shape was subpar and the brown dye has since faded into a reddish colour. i have very thin brows and fair skin so the red colour is very obvious on my face.

previously went to get my brows done again about 2 years ago to sort of laser off the redness and microblade new brows on after, but the new dye has since faded and the red undertone is back again.

i want to get ride of this red dye once and for all, is laser the only way? does anyone have experience and would recommend a studio that provides removal services?

for now i just draw my brows in with makeup…feeling very cautious about doing my brows again due to past bad experiences. but if anyone has really good brow places please advise too

doctors, how did you survive medical school and beyond?

currently in my clinical years and it feels incredibly lonely. waking up early to commute 2h to the hospital at the opposite end of the country, join 7am ward rounds, learn absolutely nothing because everyone uses their own insider abbreviations and is trying to get their work done ASAP, and all you did the whole day was get in other people’s way. occasionally you get good consultants who are willing to teach you along the way and value having you around.

but most of the time, you’re expected to learn the ropes yourself and come back the next day more well-versed and confident. i understand that a medical degree is expected to be academically rigorous, but i cannot help but feel lonely and confused at this stage of school. this place is called a teaching hospital but there is rarely ever any proper teachings. go home ownself read textbook ownself find out what’s going on ownself decipher what things they were talking about during ward rounds. the best part is when the team leaves without saying a single word, leaving the students alone and then reconvening again downstairs at the cafe to have their coffee chats and looking much happier than when they had medical students following them for that one hour in the morning. then why agree to teach? why call yourself a tutor? why deem this a teaching hospital?

when i get home it’s dinner time but after eating i practically just knock out because of how tired i am. i am envious of people my age in other uni courses, having actual holidays, heavily subsidised exchange/elective programs and having an actual uni life. i feel like the weeks fly past me without much tangible progress. and when i see the HOs around me, it feels worse and more hopeless. like it just gets worse from here.

doctors who survived the system, how did you do it?
