For the second time I received a toll invoice after using the express lanes in the DMV area (either 495, 95, or 395). When looking at the NC Quick Pass website it says it is compatible with E-ZPass in the state of Virginia and Maryland.

When I called express lanes to dispute they told me that they do not accept Quick Pass but only E-ZPass. I stressed that the Quick Pass literally has E-ZPass written on the sticker and the rep kept saying it does not matter. I do not understand how this is legal?

Has anybody used the express lanes in the DMV area using the NC Quick Pass before? The amount invoiced is more than double what it should have been if the pass was used so I am pretty frustrated.
