2026 connectivity issues
I had the same issue for 17 months and finally got it resolved! The local dealership installed two software updates concerning connectivity and infotainment center problems. They recognized the widespread issue from multiple customers across the nation and took responsibility.
During this last round of complaining from me, I had to wait 7 months for a loaner car. However, persistence paid dividends! GMC is well aware of these issues and will help you. Do not give up because you have a good vehicle.
Lastly and of equal importance: Make sure you either have updated your “On Star” subscription because your car only comes with a trial “OR” you are accessing CarPlay using “Bluetooth.” If your car “Onstar” subscription expired you can use your phone via Bluetooth and connect that way.
