Best complex mod for M2TW

Hello. No complicated question, actually. I know there have been many similar questions, but every time the answer is different.

I was playing a lot of vanilla many, many... many years ago. After that, I played a lot of SS - 6.3, 6.4. It was good, nicely complex. But I am not sure if I am not missing more/better features. I have seen some mods that looked more complex and more entertaining.

What is your opinion on that? Is Stainless Steel the king? Do you prefer different mods? Please suggest. Otherwise I will do another run of SS! I swear to allmighty byzantine emperor!

Silingai clan #0 - Prologue

"The mist is still there. I am not sure what is on the other side. I think we should go around. I really saw them."
The scout was right. Passing through southern Sturgia was never really safe, but since the rebellion started, boyars were busy killing each other and nobody was taking care of bandits and looters. And here, west of Kranirog Castle, with new white banners over its walls, the desire of its garrison to roam around, guarding caravans was even lower, since with every trip out of the castle, there was a chance to encounter a patrol from nearby Varcheg.

But we had to go through. My men did not know yet, but we were really low on money, and they were expecting their wages for this dangerous job. Damn Tatik! I did not realize the fur was so expensive until the deal was done. I should have stabbed him for his laugh, but I am no fighter, and it would cost me my trading privileges at least.

We need to get to Seonon, get materials there, and move to Ortysia. I haven't been there yet, but everybody in the Varcheg tavern swore that Ortysia is rich and full of opportunities. I really hope so. The roads are paved by merchants left alone the exact moment the money ran dry. I mean I killed those looters a couple days ago, but... I still cannot sleep, seeing their faces when I close my eyes. I am no fighter...

##--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey everyone. I have decided to write short stories, something like a diary, to map my Bannerlord game. I really love playing roleplay, and this is a perfect chance to practice my english writing skills while also working on my rp imagination.

I actually wanted to do this in my previous game, but it would be a bit hard to get you into the story as I was already mid game, having money, troops, a castle and ambitions for my own kingdom. But "luckily", something went really wrong with the Retinues mod, and so I decided to start over. I am still filled with pain, but whatever... Damn glitch! DAMN GLITCH I SAY!

Anyway, I hope you will like my content, and I will do my best to maintain some frequency of these posts. However, it all depends on the real world around me.

Regarding the game and mods I am working with:
My game version is 1.4.6 and it is forced since with every new minor version, there was a new problem with some of the mods. Now it works ok so I am keeping that.

I also had to introduce my own mod to fix some issues along the way, but I write this only to brag about it. It helped; my saves are not crashing anymore, so I hope I will be able to finish this story somehow.

My mod list:
- MAIN
RBM
Retinues (Yes, I will include custom troops in the story. This will not be just about me, but also the mighty tribe of Silingai)
RTS Camera
Diplomacy
Bellum Civile
Bannerlord Living Economy
Improved Garrisons

-- MINOR
Better time
Titles
Caravan Slowdown
Troops Prefer Spears
Better Pikes
Immersive Battlefields
Kingdom Borders

See you soon!

Is Warsails worth it?

Hello. I know there were thousands of similar questions, but still, I would like to know your opinion based on my parameters.

Firstly I want to say I spent thousands of hours in Warband - that is one of the reasons I would like not to miss any DLC for Bannerlord. Warband was the base game for the whole community, and if there is potential for that in some of Bannerlord's DLC, I would like not to miss it.

However, I am not really a fan of naval warfare in general. I prefer land battles, maybe raids from sea, but naval battles seem really limited to small-scale deck skirmishes.

What hooks me into Warsails is having a new kingdom. I am no fan of Nords (I am son of Vaegirs), but it seems that it could add a lot of spice into any sturgian game and provide new balance to the game, some new scenarios and alternatives. I am really into roleplay, so the bigger the world, the better.

What stops me from Warsails a bit is the fact I am really into mods. I cannot imagine playing without RBM, without Retinues, without Diplomacy. And I am not sure how compatible these mods are. I know that RBM sucks on Warsails, so that is a blocker...

I know I could get rid of RBM, but man, finally there is a mod that makes spears actually usable. There is finally a reason to have good armor; there is finally a reason to do side and rear attacks with other infantry detachments; there is finally the feeling of cavalry being unstoppable. I really like RBM.

So what do you think. Is Warsails worth it?

Everybody manages to "win" the game

I mean I play it mainly as Role play, so winning it is not my goal, but I definitely want to be successful. Usually, getting first city is pretty hard, because having less than 200 troops, building siege camp, fending off enemy lords roaming around my siege camp requires big heap of luck. Then expanding the kingdom without clans is hard, even with two or three it gets hard against fully established kingdoms.

However, weekly I see many posts about finished game, great strategic win, destroying whole kingdoms singlehandedly....

I am by no means beginner, having 2K+ hours in Warband (partially napoleonic wars as regiment member, but still many hours in Floris, Pendor and so on), 700+ hours in Bannerlord.

I use Diplomacy, RBM so it is harder, but still...
