I don't get the point anymore
I'm not sure if this is a rant or a question but this has been on my mind ever since the isreal Palestine gaza and whatever they're doing thing started.
JUST TO CLARIFY, I AM NOT STANDING WITH WHATEVER ISREAL IS DOING AND I DO FULLY BELIEVE THEY SHOULD BE BOYCOTTED AND DEALT WITH! PLEASE DON'T MISUNDERSTAND MY WORDS!
we're making apps on what to boycott and we have big lists but.. does it really do something? I feel like the 5 dollar shampoo I buy or don't buy doesn't matter when, suppose, trump will just 100x the amount and send it to isreal. I don't buy a 5 dollar shampoo and trump sends over 5 million to make up for it, that's what it feels like to me.
I'm not saying we shouldn't be doing this, I fully believe that if enough people joined this boycott, there will definitely be a difference. It just feels like Israel is too big of a problem now and simple boycotting won't do shit when they've got actual help from presidents of different governments.
Again, in no way, shape, or form am I putting down the people who boycott, I try to avoid those products too until absolutely necessary (I'm broke as hell 💔) but it's really starting to feel hopeless
