I’ve been approved PIP on 17/08 after submitting my application in mid June. I’m awaiting the letter through the post but I’m confused about the back payment. I’ve checked my online banking (on Monzo it tells you if there’s any upcoming payments that are due to hit your account) and it’s showing £53.50? I’m confused as I was expecting a higher back payment unless I could still receive this?

For context, my illness originally started back in December 2023 (cancer) but I have had to have surgery this year and then undergo chemo hence why I have applied.

Does anyone have any advice on what sort of figure I should be expecting or am I right in thinking this is case dependent and will vary?
