I have a 2021 model y and about a year ago the fog light randomly flickered here and there and suddenly it just stayed on. It was winter so I pulled the plastic back and unplugged it. I thought it was an issue with the housing so I just replaced it and it’s still being powered even after it’s turned off. Even after you walk away from the car it won’t turn off no matter what. Has anyone had this issue before?
We got the dreaded dead battery alert yesterday. This morning I asked my wife to hop in and check on the car and the low voltage died after she shut the door. $700 estimated to tow to Salem Oregon’s service center. I just put a jumper box and got the car going again and hopefully tomorrow can get it to the service center without it failing. Now that I have the car running as long as the cars driving should I be concerned with the drive to the service center about the cars low voltage failing Thankfully we have a 3rd car (2021 model y) that she can drive. Just hit 50k miles.
