Working stops into a long flight
Hey everyone, my wife and I have an event to go to early next year out of country. We're here in indiana and will be traveling to a small island outside of Thailand.
30+ hours of juggling airports sounds awful though and we already planned on taking a Japan trip in the next year or two so would like to work in a few days there on the way and break the flight up.
What we would like to try to do is go from Indianapolis (IN) to Tokyo for a few days, then would need to go Tokyo -> Bangkok -> koh samui (island only accessible by small plane)
Never tried working holdovers into a trip before. Is the easiest way going to be round trip tickets to Tokyo and work in round trip tickets from Bangkok? Talked about just reaching out to a travel agent to ease our minds on all the time differences.
Any tips/advice is appreciated!
