Assassin/Detective Games reccomendations

I'm looking for interesting games about being an assassin or a detective. I know a few titles, mostly for assassin games, such as Hitman or Assassin's Creed, and while I find both games enjoyable and their story interesting, I also think these kind of games don't go in detail with their mechanics. What I mean is that often times NPCs are completely oblivious, and this makes the game very easy and boring to play.

As for detective games, unfortunately, I don't really know many, but again I'm interested in ones that have depth and don't just hand you everything you need to solve your cases. One game that does this amazingly, in my opinion, is for example Shadows of Doubt, which simulates an entire city with interactions between characters etc. With this said, I also have other problems with SoD, such as the bugs that make some cases unsolvable and bad optimization.

Does anyone have any suggestions for the kind of games I'm looking for?

How was your first approach by a demon?

I've found this subreddit about an hour ago but I've already read some of the starter posts and I'm very interested. I've never been a religious person, and I've always leaned more towards science and hard proofs. That being said, I've always had an interest for occult and "what is beyond". I don't, and probably will never work with a demon or try any of the practices described here, but I'm very curious of it.

More than anything, I'd like to know what makes all of the people here believe anything demon-related is real, or to which point they believe it is. I'm not trying to question anyone's faith of course, I'm just genuinely curious and reasonably skeptical.

How was your first approach by a demon? What is your relationship with them? What effects have you seen on your life since you've started working with a demon?
