Hello,

My fridge has stopped defrosting, and I'm hoping it's something I can fix...

Model: WRS325SDHZ01

I've tested resistance on the heater element (~23 ohms) and thermistor (~2k ohms at room temp and increases with cold/ice water).

I've tested voltage to the heating element, and it's receiving 120 VAC. I noticed that there's no consistent amperage when I run a force defrost. When I test the fan, there's a noticeable amperage increase, but the heating element shows a small "blip" of amperage, and then it goes away.

There is continuity between the white and brown wires that connect to the heating element.

I'm fairly certain that the heating element itself is not bad, since I received a replacement today that also does not work.
