I’ve got a b9 2017 2.0 tdi Quattro. However during the heatwave and hot weather my car has been acting erratically, when coasting at low speed and pressing the accelerator, my car almost stalls and thumps me forward, regathers composure then drives off like nothing has happened.
I randomly went away when the weather cooled down.
No fault codes or anything. Audi dealership can’t recreate. What should I do?
I’d appreciate help from anyone on this. My Audi a5 2.0ltr diesel Quattro was working fine, then all of a sudden during the heat wave during low speeds (10mph) when I step on the gas, my car jerks (almost like it stalls and feels like I’ve tapped the brake - put harsh enough to know something is wrong).
Has anyone experience anything similar? Feel like I’m getting messed around with garages at the moment!
Car is randomly stuttering while driving. This normally happens around 3rd/4th gear. The revs drop off (usually at 2000rpm) and quickly shoot back up resulting in the car stuttering due to loss of power.
This issue isn’t consistent which is why I’m confused. The car might drive fine for a week and then all of a sudden it starts acting up. There are no warnings up on the car so the garage can’t see anything when they plug the car in.
It sounds like a fuel issue but because it’s not consistent I don’t know where to look. Has anyone had any similar issues? Any feedback would be great, thanks.
