My newest babies 😍

I have a mixed tank of 100 or so high grade adult caridina sharing a tank while I redo my rack. These babies popped up today! Absolutely none of my adults have the same coloration- so a fun unintended breeding! Excuse the ugly substrate of snowflake and snail (zucchini is under there for snail removal).

What is the safest and smartest way to invest a big chunk of money?

A very close longtime friend passed last week, after a long battle with cancer. Today I inherited just over 350k, which I want to be smart with. I always hear that money management companies can scam you. What is the safest and smartest way to invest the money? How do you know who to trust? We don’t need to touch the money and do alright, but we want to make sure our son (god child to passed friend), has a head start on life opportunities. He is only 6 right now. Who do I even reach out to in order to figure this out?

6 y/o - sleep shaking

My son is 6, healthy and normal development. He is 99% percentile in height and weight. We live near Las Vegas. He had had a handful of these weird nighttime episodes that we have seen and I am wondering what they are. A few years ago I showed a video to our pediatrician and he sent us to a neurologist. The neurologist did an eeg in the middle of the day and it was normal, so he said parasomnia (?).

I have never seen these type of shakes in another sleeping person, and just want to double check that is right. A typical episode will start like- He will be asleep for over an hour, then sit up, eyes open, sometimes a cry or scream, not aware or responding at all, and then he will shake. He never wakes up. Last night he did it for 2-3 minutes, then I nicely pushed him into laying down, and thought to take a video. This video is after the event, but he still has aftershocks for lack of a better word. In the morning he remembers nothing.

I have been running a tank for 3 months to prepare for my Sulawesi shrimp. I keep corys in all of my shrimp tanks and would like to have them in my Sulawesi tank as well. Water temp is 81, pH is 8, volcanic substrate, but a substantial amount of non abrasive places and spaces. I currently keep pandas, long fin albino, peppered, and three baby Venezuelan… and sterbai on the way. Who is my best for the above conditions, in your opinion?
