ANG + AFROTC bad choice??

I’ve been seeing a lot of comments on how people should only join ANG if they’re struggling financially otherwise it’s useless.

I’ve been in college and rotc for a year but I’ve been struggling academically and kind of financially. So to relieve that stress, I have decided to enlist in the ANG and come back to ROTC the next fall semester.

Has anybody had a similar experience? Advice?

Dropped and then came back?

Has anybody..anybody. Dropped ROTC, failed two classes, came back and become an officer. Or your gpa was so low, you decided to enlist and then do the ROTC program and become officer.

I’m looking for any combination, just give me a story and some motivation please. Or has your gpa been so low that you managed to get it up for 200 yr. Give me anything please. Any got out of the trenches and I’m doing amazing now.
