Hey everyone!

On October 25, 2026, we’re hosting the very first Pauper with Purpose in Essen, Germany – a Magic: The Gathering Pauper tournament for a good cause.

The idea is simple: play some Pauper, have a great day with the community, and raise money for a local charity at the same time.

All net proceeds from the event will be donated to Raum 58, an emergency shelter for young people in Essen. The net proceeds from waffles, snacks, and soft drinks sold at the venue will also go directly to the charity.

On-site registration: from 10:30 AM
Check-in deadline: 11:45 AM
Tournament start: 12:00 PM

Presale: €10 + fees
At the door: €13, if spots are still available
Capacity: 70 players

• Pauper
• 5–6 rounds depending on attendance
• REL Regular
• Decklist required
• No proxies
• Current official Pauper ban list

🏆 Prizes

There will be guaranteed prizes for the Top 8.

We’ll also raffle additional prizes among all participants, so you don’t need to make Top 8 to walk away with something. More prizes may be added as we get closer to the event.

If you buy a presale ticket, please make sure to check in by 11:45 AM. Tickets will lose their validity if you haven’t checked in by then.
