Two meetups in aaand weve had almost 30 people at each one + grown the group to 110+ members already!!

we are first time parents new to Germany and are expecting our first child in March 2027 and are looking for a Hebamme in Essen.

We’re new to navigating the German maternity care system and would really appreciate recommendations from other parents who have been through this experience.

We’re particularly looking for someone who can provide prenatal advice if required ,provide postpartum care (Wochenbettbetreuung), breastfeeding support, and guidance during the first few weeks after birth. An English-speaking Hebamme would be a big plus as we are a beginner in Deutsch language .

We’ve looked through a few Hebamme websites and are currently waiting for responses.If you have any recommendations, experiences, or tips on finding a Hebamme in Essen, we’d be very grateful.

Was ist euer persönlicher lieblingsfoodspot in essen?

Hallo zusammen,

meine Ausbildung als Fachinformatiker für Anwendungsentwicklung endet im Januar. Leider kann mich der Betrieb aus finanziellen Gründen nicht übernehmen, wodurch ich mich nun umschauen muss.

Da ich weiß das nicht jede Firma Stellen auf den bekannten Plattformen ausschreibt, wollte ich einmal fragen ob jemand ein Unternehmen kennt, wo noch ein Softwareentwickler gesucht wird.

Ich arbeite zurzeit in einem recht großen Unternehmen und habe privat schon seit meiner Kindheit mit Softwareentwicklung zu tun und kann mehrere Apps und Webseiten als Referenz vorweisen.

Meine Präferenz wäre definitiv die App und Webentwicklung. Full-Stack wie bei meinen Apps teilweise der Fall ist, ist auch kein Thema, jedoch liegt meine Stärke eher im Frontend.

Entwicklung mit KI ist auch kein Problem für mich.

Würde mich freuen wenn da jemand einen Tipp hat, ich suche ansonsten weiterhin auf den bekannten Plattformen :)

Me and my friend are travelling to Essen for Spiel Essen in a couple of weeks and are looking into where in Essen to park. We would like to park as near Messe Essen as possible but have little knowledge of the town and if there is any recommendations when parking and sleeping in the van or if there's any neighbourhoods we should stay away from etc? Any tips or advices is highly appreciated.
