I've noticed there are a lot of posts here from people looking for friends, a community, or an international social circle. As an expat myself, I know how difficult that can be.

A friend and I started a creative performing arts community about three months ago, and we've already built a lovely, growing group of people from all kinds of backgrounds.

We do a bit of everything: theatre, improv, creative writing, and social events like Wii nights, museum visits, board games, and trips to bars. If you have your own idea for a project or meetup, you're welcome to start one too!

You can find us on Meetup. This week we're hosting theatre practice, a creative writing session, and on Sunday we're visiting the Theatermuseum Düsseldorf for an exclusive English-language tour (we still have about 10 spots available).

We're completely community-driven and not trying to sell anything. Most events are free, and for some activities we charge around €5 simply to cover room rental costs.

We do it all! theater, improv, creative writing and a bunch community nights and events (like Wii nights, bars, museums, etc.), this place is open for anyone to join and start their own little project or sub group as well :)

Notice that we are not profit oriented or trying to sell something, it's just a bunch of expats that wanted to start something togheter 🙌 we do charge around 5 euros for certain gatherings to cover the cost of rooms we rent but we also have fully free gatherings like our creative writing :) so drop by if you're in or around Düsseldorf!

To admins, I've tried reaching out and got no answer 😅 if this is not allowed I apologize but feels like good for the exact community to come and hang out with like minded people.
