How to carry yarn on this sweater pattern crocheted in one piece?

I am pretty new to crocheting garments and found this easy pattern (https://www.jerasjamboree.co.uk/easy-crochet-pullover-pattern-coastal-breeze/?utm_source=Pinterest&utm_medium=organic) crocheted all in one piece then folded in half and seamed.

I’m using five skeins of yarn and alternating every 5 rows so there is yarn going every which way. I’m about to the point of making the sleeve extensions and I’m not sure the best way to go about carrying each strand to incorporate into the sleeves and then back down into the back panel.

I’ve attached a picture with my progress and you can see the different strands of yarn on each side. Should I just cut them and weave them in? Tie them off? Are there other methods for this type of garment creation? Any advice much appreciated! 🥰

ETA yes, the skeins are all the same yarn but they are hand-dyed and there are subtle but noticeable differences in each skein. I was told when I purchased the yarn to alternate skeins to avoid color pooling.
