Happy Birthday Princess!!

Little miss Ivy is 10 years old today! She’s my little bottle baby. She is such a little princess and is so sweet 75% of the time, and a lil spitfire the other 25%. Pretty sure she’s bipolar but we love her endlessly lol she definitely has the prissy princess attitude and knows she is royalty, and don’t you dare tell her otherwise!! I love you little bug. Happy 10th birthday baby girl :)

Take a guess!

I already know what he is as I’ve gotten him DNA tested, but was curious to see what others’ guesses were! He is about 45lb give or take, he is currently 9 years old, and he’s about ~20in at the withers. The other dog pictured with him in the 11th pic is a purebred (though byb) Australian cattle dog from farm working parents. He is high energy and has high toy/ball/food/work drive. Even at 9, he still thinks he’s 3. He is a task trained medical alert/non weight bearing mobility/psychiatric service dog and loves his job. He is non reactive, only barks when people actually knock on the door or he’s excited, frustrated, or alerting(barks once or twice to alert if more subtle alerts are ignored). He loves almost every person/every dog he meets. He is extremely strong and powerful, but very well trained. He learns very quickly and is clingy but able to settle well away from me on his bed/out of sight. He is a MAJOR chewer. He likes to hoard things under the bed if given the chance. He was around 3-5 weeks old when I got him in the first picture. He is a bull in a china shop. He’s almost broken my nose jumping up to give me a kiss. He is currently intact for health and personal reasons(DO NOT GIVE ADVICE ON THIS. HIS VET AND I KNOW BETTER, I PROMISE. he has never sired a litter and never will due to the fact I’m responsible and am able to handle an intact dog without backyard breeding). He is very active and requires a ton of physical and mental enrichment/stimulation. Most of his spots showed up as he aged and the spots on his head and rear that have been there since I got him are brindle. His ears stood straight up from roughly 4-5 months old and then dropped again. He is an obvious pitbull/bully breed mix, but I’m looking to see what specific breeds people guess, so please don’t just say pit mix lol. Leave your guesses below!

He grazes

This is my boy, Zepp. He just turned 9 in February, so I try to give him some freedom at night because he can’t have a bed or blanket in his crate because he chews them up and I want him to have somewhere soft to sleep at night. He’s out all day when I’m home but still. His problem is that he’s smart and knows that when I’m sleeping, I am not gonna wake up to stop him from getting into things, so he specifically waits till I fall asleep and then starts sniffing around seeing what he can get into. I tried tethering him at night but he would still get into whatever he could manage to get his paws on. I can’t do anything if I’m asleep and don’t know he’s getting into something, so there’s no amount of training that can help. He knows not to get into things when I’m awake, even when I step outside. I can be out there for 20+ min and he won’t touch anything because he’s figured out I can still see him on the cameras. So to keep him safe, I started muzzling him at night. It’s working great!! Now he can sleep on a soft bed at night and I can keep him safe and make sure he doesn’t end up poisoned or with a blockage :) ***NOT ASKING FOR ADVICE. He can pant, drink water, and yawn just fine***

Meet my spitz bull

His name is Fruit Bat! (Aka Fruit, Mr. Fruit, Fruity, Bat Boy, Fruit Loop, & Stinky Peanut) he’s an American pitbull terrier/Norwegian elkhound/Keeshond/American bulldog mix. Hence “spitz bull”. He’s barky, he’s bitey, and he’s a little pistol. Always going a thousand miles per hour. He’s SO incredibly smart. He got all his looks from his momma (elkhound/keeshond). He was rehomed to me by a coworker because he was too bitey for their kids. But I love my little mutt so much and just had to share him!
