I can’t believe that I can finally say this, but I got a job offer! It’s for medical ICU at a level 3 trauma kind of in the middle of nowhere. However, I am very far out from graduation next spring, so this was one of the few hospitals that even let me apply this early. I plan to continue to apply around the country as more opportunities open up. Does it make sense to accept this offer as a safety option just in case a higher acuity opportunity doesn’t work out? I would feel bad accepting the offer and then having a better opportunity come my way. Any advice would be very much appreciated!
