Hey guys, just wanted to get some perspective from people who've gone through the Malaysian job market recently.

I recently graduated with a Bachelor of IT (Software Systems Development) from TARUMT with a CGPA of 3.78. Did a 6 month internship as a Network Support Engineer at an IT services company in Penang.

Currently have 4 interviews done:

• AMD (2+ weeks ago, no reply)
• UST (11 days ago, no reply)
• Exabytes (1 week ago, no reply)
• UPS TSG Specialist (today, just done)

Targeting RM3,500–4,500 salary range, based in Penang.

A few questions:

1. How long did it realistically take for you to hear back after interviews in Malaysia?
2. Is ghosting after interviews common here or should I keep following up?
3. For those who've worked at any of these companies — what's your experience like?
4. Any advice for a fresh grad in Penang right now?

Available from mid-July. Starting to feel the anxiety lol, any input appreciated.
