My boss complained to HR that I didnt delete a document
Long story short, I was given a warning from HR for "poor performance" after I reported my boss's behavior for yelling at me over the phone for the 3rd time.
After given this warning, I noticed my boss isnt really helping me and has increased their demands and complaints and constantly ccing HR on every little thing. Im not surprised by this at all and I have been documenting on my end to protect myself.
At the end of the day, I recieved an email from my boss complaining that I didnt delete a document that I was going to delete before the day ended. I was in the middle of updating my personal notes and wanted to slow down, thats it!
I thought that was absolutely ridiculous. I think I hurt my boss's feelings when I reported them to HR lol.
Edit. Wow, I didnt realize this post was going to get alot of attention lol. Look guys, Im just venting into the internet void about a shitty situation and thats it.
For those who are curious, I forgot to mention that the HR person is ALSO my other reporting manager that I worked closely with since starting at this company. She was promoted into HR shortly after I started working this current position. I was suspicious about this werid HR/manager combo.
Between my two managers, I didnt have any outside resources other than these two managers and only one of them offered some sort of assistance to my growing workload. I dont regret what I did at all, I have especially seen this happen with past coworkers who asked for help and its just straight up time for me to leave. I look forward to being fired from this job because you need to sell your soul if you want to stay
