URGENT: Joined KPMG yesterday, but have another offer with ~50% hike. Can absconding/early exit get me blacklisted from all Big 4?

URGENT: Joined KPMG yesterday, now have another offer with 50% hike — need advice!

My friend joined KPMG just yesterday, but he already has an offer from another consulting firm offering around 50% higher CTC.

We heard that if he absconds from KPMG, he could potentially be blacklisted across all Big 4 firms.

Is this actually true? Is there any Big 4-wide blacklist/shared record for absconding? Or would it be better to resign properly even though he just joined?

Would really appreciate advice from anyone in KPMG/Big 4 HR or recruitment, or someone who has faced a similar situation.

Need urgent advice!

Help me please!! I don’t know what to do??Currently crying while posting it

25F, I honestly don’t know what to do anymore and I think I just need people who have been through something similar to tell me if I’m overreacting or if my feelings are valid. I got married 5 months ago in an arranged marriage and have been living with my in laws ever since. These have been the worst months of my life. My MIL constantly taunts my parents saying they didn’t do this or they should have done that. I finally told her very clearly that I won’t tolerate anyone speaking against my parents but that changed nothing. She still keeps bringing them up whenever she gets the chance. My husband did stand up for me a couple of times in the beginning but now he seems completely fed up with the situation. He has told me that he won’t take anyone’s side anymore. The part that hurts the most is that when his mom is upset with him he is nice to me but the moment everything is fine between them I become invisible again. He doesn’t seem to care if I’m crying and sometimes I genuinely feel like I could be dying and it wouldn’t make a difference to him. There hasn’t been a single day since February that I haven’t cried. I wake up with this heavy pain in my chest every day and I don’t even recognize myself anymore. The only reason I’m finally getting away from my in laws is because I lied to my husband and told him that my work from home has ended so we have to move to another city. We are moving next week. I have already started thinking about separation but I haven’t shared this with anyone except my sister. She thinks I should give my husband one genuine chance after we move out because living separately from his parents might completely change things. She wants me to wait for one month before making such a big decision. A part of me wants to believe that things can get better but another part of me feels like I’m just delaying the inevitable. Should I tell my husband everything that I’m feeling or should I wait and see how things are once we start living separately? Has anyone here been in a similar situation where moving away from in laws actually saved the marriage? I feel emotionally exhausted and I just want to be at peace again.
