It’s fifty years to the day since the Clash’s first show. As a lifelong Clash fan and Sheffield based writer, I’ve always been intrigued by the link and how unacknowledged it is. I’d expect a blue plaque to be fair. But very few people know and the venue is now boarded up. It’s a real shame. Anyway, thought you might enjoy this article.
