Hi, just a quick, somewhat silly question: I just created a new user, and I discovered the GECOS field for my users. It made me realize I don't know what to put there, and I'm torn between just putting my first name, putting my first name and a made-up last name, or leaving it blank. I don’t want to use my real name for privacy reasons, but I don’t mind using my real first name. Do you have any suggestions, or am I completely off base here?

Hello, sorry to bother you, but I have a question about choosing a shell for my new Arch installation. Can you help me?

First, I want a shell that’s fully compatible with Bash, so I can copy and paste everything without having to change anything in my commands and scripts.

Second, I use and am familiar with Vim (Neovim), but I’m not really sure which shell supports it best.

Third, I’d like a shell that I can configure, “tweak,” and add features like smart completion, syntax highlighting, etc.—even if that’s done through scripts!

Fourth, I’m mainly torn between zsh and Bash; should I use Bash everywhere, or Bash for scripts and zsh for interactive use? I don’t want to use zsh everywhere, because I want to keep my scripts accessible to everyone (I’ll be using scripting regularly with the shell).
