Major tranfer advice

Hi I'm a student of uchciago (just made it thru ssen)and I was wondeirng how easy it would be to transfer majors. I think I declared cegu when I got in but I also have many interests in chem and mat sci so I was wondering how possible it would be to transfer into mol eng + chem double major.

Looking to apply to oxford as a geo major and then possibly transferring to chem: Do awards matter?

I know the title seems unhinged, but I'm currently a rising senior considering of applying to oxford. Currently, I have all the SATs and APs required, but I know that oxford admissions isn't easy at all and I've seen plenty of peers with betters SATs and APs get rejected. However, I was able to make my country's Earth Science olympiad team this year. I was wondering how beneficial this may be to potentially apply as a geology major at oxford and potentially then transferring into a chem major (cuz I think most interests still lie there). I know it kinda sounds hypocritical that I'm considering of transferring majors before I even get in, but it's just a geniune curious question I have.

How beneficial is IESO for Earth Sci Major?

Say if I'm applying for Earth Sci and I got like silver in IESO, does that make a significant difference? (considering it lines up with ecs and other stuff?)

how much do the big 8 olympiads (at least the 8 on the wikipedia page) matter

Like I'm talking about all of them: IMO, IPHO, ICHO, IBO, IPO, ILO, IESO, IGO.

Like are some worth specifically less than others? Especially relating to the stem ones perhaps like ILO vs ICHO or IESO vs IPHO (smth alongs the lines of that)

looking for graduate students / profs to teach Earth Sci for struggling students (payment for class negotiable)

So I'm a new student in Earth Sci and I really didn't get what happened this year. I have classes the upcoming year and I really need to lock in and establish my foundations so I can not fail next year. If ur open to offers, u can dm me and we can talk things out. This will be online.

In addition, any resources for studying Earth Sci is appreciated!
