crazy discolouration
last night I took out my contacts and almost instantly the solution was yellow and it turned dark brown. I have no idea what happened, or how quickly it happened but it was fast enough that I had noticed while the case was still open. I was out and about drinking (I don’t smoke) but I’ve been a contact wearer for 20+ years and I don’t mess around with cleanliness when it comes to my eyes.
in my eye it was normal. no pain or sensitivity. not an old case. The right contact was completely fine.
I actually thought I dreamt the whole thing as this is so crazy.
There was also this odd bit of substance floating in the case as well.
I have been on a topical steroid for eczema around my eyes but I don’t see that being the culprit. I can’t imagine anything in my skincare routine getting in the case and being this crazy of a culprit.
What could possibly be happening???
