Hi everyone,

I've been playing around with the map generation mode, but I haven't been able to find settings that create the kind of experience I'm looking for.

My ideal game would be a longer match where I can spend a lot of time building up my kingdom, gathering resources, developing a powerful army, and eventually fighting one or more epic late-game battles.

So far, most generated maps don't seem to provide that experience. When I play on Hard difficulty, the AI often reaches me very quickly. Either they overwhelm me early, or I defeat them and the game ends shortly afterward.

Are there any map generation settings that encourage longer games with plenty of resources, expansion opportunities, and meaningful late-game wars? Or any existing map templates?

Alternatively, are there any community-made maps that fit this playstyle?

I'd really appreciate any recommendations or tips. Thanks!
