Visiting September
Just wondering how busy will Chamonix be first week in September? Very aware UTMB will have just finished and wondered will most the big crowd have gone or will it be still quite busy? Would love to go for UTMB week next year

I’ve gone through years of pain with a few flare ups leaving me on the couch for weeks feeling like a knife was in my back, over this time I got this image in my head that my back was all so messed up and I’d struggle to go a day without back pain, I eventually got an MRI couple months ago after nearly a decade of this and what I seen and read wasn’t what I had in my head and I swear after that my pain became so much less noticeable and then magically I woke up a few months back and had zero pain, no discomfort nothing it was all gone, since then I’ve had slight discomfort and odd sore day.
After diving down a rabbit hole I started reading about how subconsciously your body can hold muscle tension and guarding which can lead to sore muscles and pain disguising as back pain when really it’s fatigued muscle, I don’t know how much of this is true to me but I feel there is some basis to this and after seeing my mri and reading the report it’s like it was a mental relief, I can definitely see what’s there and wonder if sometimes the pain is maybe slight inflammation from irritation
Anyways any opinions much appreciated
