I’ve worked downtown Detroit since 2010 and am starting to think seriously about moving closer to work to eliminate the commute. Right now I live in Woodhaven, but as my kids get older, I'm finding myself wanting more of an urban lifestyle.
I'm really drawn to neighborhoods like Woodbridge and Southwest Detroit because they seem to have a lot of character, walkability, local restaurants, and a strong sense of community. I'm open to other neighborhood suggestions/recommendations as well.
