Took longer than I planned but it is done. 3kw heater and honestly I was worried it would not be enough, but this thing gets properly hot. If your insulation is right you do not need the bigger unit.

The wiring was the hardest part of the whole build. Do not cheap out here, get a proper electrician and hardwire it. Mine nailed it and now it holds temp with zero dramas. Plug in units trip breakers and never quite get there.

Cold plunge sits in the corner next to it. Hot session, straight into the plunge, rest, go again. I used to pay for this at a recovery studio every week and now the commute is ten steps in my socks.

Happy to answer questions on the build if anyone is planning one. There are a few things I would do differently and a few things I am glad I did not skip.
