Lucky timing update

I posted a few days ago to poll the group and see if we maybe got lucky on our timing. I had written off this cycle because my husband was traveling for work. I got my surge and knew for sure we were out. THEN, here’s where the luck comes in, I got a second surge AND my husband came home a couple of days early. We were able to BD at 11pm on peak day and the morning after. I’m 9 DPO and got a faint line on FRER and the obvious pregnant on the digital. 🙈 I cannot believe it. I’m going to manage my expectations because it’s still so early, but this was pretty unexpected and I’m grateful.

ETA: I’m 36. We’ve been trying for a year, with quite a few cycles missed because of work travel. This will be our second child. Sending baby dust and good health to all of you. ❤️

Lucky timing?

I had written off this month’s chance because my husband’s work schedule was keeping him away during what I knew would be the window. It’s Tuesday, I get the notice of Peak Fertility - cool - husband isn’t home until Saturday, so we’re out this month. On Wednesday, he calls me and says “surprise! I’m coming home tomorrow (Thursday).” I’m still thinking we’ve missed the window by just a bit, but still glad he’s coming home early. THEN I test Thursday morning and I’ve got another Peak Fertility. I’ve never had a double LH surge. I think the second one may be the real deal AND we were able to have sex when he got home last night and this morning. So, polling the group, does it seem like we were able to get in some potentially productive sessions? I’m not holding my breath, but it’s cool thinking maybe we have a chance this month. 🤞🏼 Baby dust to all!

ETA: I used two cheap ovulation strips - Wondfo and Pregmate brand after getting that second LH surge and they both had the double dark lines.
