What would you like to see added to WolfQuest?

Weird question, but I am interested in everyone else's views on what should be added. I think it would be cool to randomly come across a pup that "wandered off" from an unknown pack that you could just choose to kill or adopt. It is already recorded in nature these things happening, even one species adopting another species. Imagine adopting a random stray dog puppy, stray wolf pup, or a random coyote kit. Least that is an update I'd love to see since this is something that does happen sometimes in reality ~

So, what do you think should be added into the game?

What is this?

So sometimes I get this when a pup gets sick? What does it mean exactly??

Is this normal?

So, I hunted and killed an adult elk, as one does, but then even after the herd was long gone this other adult elk just returned and started attacking so I had to kill her as well. I just want to know if it is normal for them to just randomly show up and attack you even though you are no longer doing anything to the herd and there are no babies there. I now have 2 carcasses that I can't do anything with

Partner achievement

So in order to get the soul mate achievement does you and your partner both absolutely need to be 2 years of age and they die first at 8 or can they be older?

Runts

For the runt challenge I was wondering if there was a way to increase the ratio of runts to normal pups. I know it might sound stupid, but the idea of an entire runt pack taking over a map for a challenge was funny to me. So, instead of turning to Google I wanted to ask the WolfQuest community, is there a way to increase the number of runts?

Meet the new pups. The runt curse is finally over!

Meet Pearl (the nearly pure white wolf), her mate Apex, and their first litter of pups today. I know these will not be their final colors, though I wanted to share that my curse of runts is gone though raising a bunch of pups (6) under a truck with a social and lazy partner is hell 😭 The upside is that they come out with relatively good stats compared to what I normally get 🥲

Lady(kk) 0 0 0 0

Rogue(kk) 0 0 0 0

Helen(kk) -1 1 0 0

Nanook(kk) 1 0 -1 0

Miles(kk) 0 1 -1 0

Ivy(kk) 0 0 -1 0

Well my runt curse has changed

My partner, Anxiety, is a dispersal wolf I took in after killing her pack because she kept popping up each time no matter how injured she was, had basically no recovery health the entire time even though I stopped attacking her, and when I finally had enough of the clear abuse since everyone else was perfect health even though she was 2 like me, I killed the entire pack off except her to make her into a dispersal wolf. She is +2 in strength, -1 in stamina, -1 in speed, and 0 in health. She she is more of a damage dealer but with decent enough health to keep her going. Since I hated her pack for constantly sending her in to battle me while they ran off like cowards I now do my absolute best to make sure she is happy, healthy, and full. I marked down her parents coats simply because I wanted to know what her traits might be closer to since in reality grandparents and parental genes influence the young. Somehow though we ended up with pups that are glass cannons but no runts. So it is like the runt curse has followed me but ended up saying "hold my drink" and instead messed with how the pups are in stats. This game, even on easy has no mercy for my soul 😭. Naming the parents Depression and Anxiety ended up ironically passing down glass cannons

Please note that after a certain age you stop seeing stats on wolves. I write them down and remove pups when they leave just so I can keep track of who can do what and when.

This is mostly a personality question/observation so please tell me if I am wrong or not...

So, while playing with my mate I noticed she was EXTREMELY cautious about everything, and such a loner she actively avoided me even after pairing up. Each night before bed, after a meal, and ever morning I have been engaging with her (play bows, rolling over, licking face, sniffing, howling after) and then stop when hearts stop appearing and her tail goes up instead ~ I then I repeat the next day and the day after that and so on. Slowly I've noticed she has started to be the one engaging with me first in a play bow or rolling over and becomes happy when I do it back. She has also started sleeping almost perfectly against me instead of super far away. She is still extremely lazy, which I don't know how to fix but I think she'll probably stay at home when she has pups because of it.

My question(s) is, does this normally happen for everyone else? Or am I just looking into it too much and am being delusional :S?

Weird question for everyone...

Does anyone else have a wolf that they don't have pups on that they use to run around and complete all the achievements for each map, or is that just me?

I am super confused...

So, there are no runts this time which means the curse might be finally broken, but I have two parents with 0s on all their stats and both are Kk in genetics as seen above. My question is how the heck did Hector end up with kk while his siblings are all Kk?

Pup Stats:

Strength, Stamina, Speed, Health

Mako(Kk) [1] [-1] [1] [-1]

Mayhem(Kk) [0] [-1] [1] [0]

Xena(Kk) [-1] [1] [0] [0]

Hector(kk) [0] [1] [-1] [0]

Wolf colors...

So, my parents wolves are both white with a bit of black on them, both are kk in genes, but they keep popping out a single wolf that is gray. For example the 4 most recent pups are:

- Tawny

- CAZ

- 856M

- Gray

They all have the kk genetic set, but little to no white on them? The new batch basically looks identical to the old one when they were young, but they all also have the kk genetic for their setting. Why exactly am I producing mostly brown wolves except for one gray wolf in the old and new batch?

I thought it was impossible to get runts with worse stats than others but here we are

I get a runt for every single pup bunch, today's runt of the day is Opal and my internal tears.

Siblings: Strength, Stamina, Speed, Health

Silver (-1, -1, 1, 1)

Brutus (0, 0, -2, 2)

Opal [Runt] (-1,-2, -2, 1)

Hawke (0, 1, -1, 0)

Runt issue (sorry for the length in advance)

To start please understand I love and care for all my pups and my mates till the end. It genuinely breaks my heart to have to kill them when they become an enemy pack instead of just leaving. Please keep this in mind as I know the following might sound cruel and uncaring though the truth is I love them so much no matter what but I am extremely confused right now; it makes me literally cry in reality anytime I have to kill one of my pups.... So, to begin, I started a new game with a new wolf on easy mode. I want to be clear that my wolf is the coat color "black" without change while his mate has a gray coat (can't remember the name of it right now) without change. His mate was a dispersal female with no connections to any pack type (random generated one).

Father: Khan - Kk (star unknown)

Mother: Vella - kk (4 star female)

With that out of the way here is my confusion, no matter what I ALWAYS end up with a runt every single time. My other 3 wolves also have the same issue and two were randomly generated to see if that helped even a little without prevail... Now I do take care of all my pups, be them 5 or more, as well as older pack members, everyone is always no lower than 89% on food and 100% on health with rarely any of the pups getting sick. I do raise my runts (surprising horrible stats but don't get sick for some reason like the others) all the way to a point they actually become dispersal wolves themselves or end up finding someone on our travels. I never play as any of my pups because I want my original wolf to die of old age. Though I have 4 wolves with ranging from 1 star females to 4 star females I have a runt each time without fail on all of them. What am I doing wrong? I deliberately went out of my way to make a gray wolf, a black wolf, and random coated wolves in the hopes that a runt occurring would run few but it is starting to feel like the game knows I can raise them all the way to adult, keep them healthy and see them off.

Please help me understand this, I feel cursed with the plague of runts.....

Does anyone else wish there was more Jorvik horses released instead of just magical horse?

For context I have been collecting Jorvik horses of all breeds, though my issue is there is basically no more to collect. I have every single one except the current one at level 15 and I just kind of wish that there was more species on top of the current ones. Does anyone agree or are you happy with just getting random magical/regular horses? Don't get me wrong, having the option for something other than a Jorvik is beautiful and their stories behind them are nice, but I just wish there was a wider range of them outside of the 6 they have compared to the other horse breeds.

So, what do you think? Should there be more Jorvik horse breeds put out or are regular/magical horses perfect for everyone?
