So the other morning I woke up and noticed my nails were curling up. The pinky on my right hand is my far the worst and the one I noticed first. Tbh the others seemed to have started curling through out the day. While they are unpleasant it's mostly annoying, with the exception of the pinky on my right hand, it is straight up uncomfortable and very misshapened. After a google search I saw that an iron deficiency can be the cause and I have been told I was anemic before and have been tired lately which is another symptom. So I started taking supplements again yesterday. My quick research said that it can take 6 to 18 months to reverse as the nail basically needs to be replaced by new nail, that makes sense. What doesn't is that they seem to have become like this very quickly. But like I said my pinky nail is very uncomfortable, it's tender and feels like it want to peel off. So is there anything I can do to less this while my nails grow out?

Also is it uncommon for it to be much worse on one hand than the other?

Edit: could this also be why my nails have always seemed to break easily?
