I am seeing an improvement with their service

Frequent transcontinental (North America to Europe) flyer and my experience with the airline is generally on the negative side

BUT..........I am seeing an improvement with their in-flight service.

  1. Food is getting better.
  • Up until about 6 months ago, they provided 1.5 meals (Lufthansa says they provide 2 meals, but the second meal was never a meal but more of 'I am going to save my face type of meal' but now their second meal is ok enough to be called a meal
  • They provide 3 food options for their first meal and 2 food options for their second meal. This is an improvement from 6 months ago where they provided 2 options for the first meal and 1 option for the second (it was more of 1 protein option + 1 vegan option for the first meal and 1 vegan option for the second)
  • Food quality is improving. In the past, their food was just pure trash, but it has improved a lot in the last 6 months
  • They provide a small menu book in Deutsche, English and I forget the third langauge. This is unnecessary, but I presume it helps the flight attendants and customers from repeating the same questions/answers hundreds of times to different customers
  1. Smooth tech integration with recently acquired airlines
  • In app integration is going well with their recently acquired airlines. They acquired 2 airlines recently, and pretty much they work seamlessly with the Lufthansa app.
  1. Always pleasant flight attendants and service members on the Munich route
  • I always always have very pleasant experience with the flight attendants on the Munich line. Service members are very enthusiastic, professional and friendly on this route.
  • Whereas on the Frankfurt route, I personally think they need to hire and/or train people better out of this city. I just avoid the Frankfurt route because I've seen enough.
