Anyone else just say f it

I've tried 4 rounds of antiboitcs this year alone. Urine analysis is always clean after then a month later comes back again. I'm now taking d-mannose, cranberry PAC pills, fem diphilus, and using only sensitive soap, laundry detergent and cotton underwear. I've also stopped having sex and drinking alcohol. I am very close to just sharing f it. I'll still take my supplements and what not, but this is no way to live. This weekend I'm going swimming, drinking and having sex!! I'm just gonna do it. I'll update you all.

WISH ME LUCK

2004 highlander 170,000 $5,500

Is it worth it? My dad was a car sales man and he died recently and I would normally always have him do this stuff :-( I got a purchasing agreement and will go back tomorrow to give them a check but I'm not sure if I made the right choice. It's in great condition!

Reoccuring UTIs since miscarriage

Hi everyone,

I’ve had occasional UTIs since I was a little girl, usually maybe once or twice a year, sometimes with years in between with none. I got pregnant last year and unfortunately had a miscarriage in January. Since then, I’ve had 3 UTIs, and it’s really starting to affect my quality of life. Right now I’m dealing with another one. Yesterday I took my second dose of fosfomycin. I’m still feeling a lot of urinary urgency, but overall there has been some improvement in symptoms. Doctors so far have mostly just prescribed antibiotics and sent me on my way. I finally saw a urologist who ran a FISH test, MDX testing, and a few other labs I can’t fully remember, but everything came back unremarkable.

The urgency is the hardest symptom for me right now. At-home dipsticks sometimes show trace leukocytes, but it seems to be improving overall.

Long story short: I feel like I can’t keep going through this.

I’m also very sensitive to antibiotics:

Ciprofloxacin → vomiting

Amoxicillin → vomiting

Keflex → fever reaction

Fosfomycin is the only one I’ve been able to tolerate so far.

I started PAC cranberry supplements about 2 months ago, but still ended up with this UTI (though it feels a bit milder than previous ones). I’ve also started D-mannose even though I know the evidence is mixed. Now I’m adding Jarrow Fem-Dophilus probiotics in hopes of improving things from the “inside out,” since I’ve read recurrent UTIs can be linked to gut/vaginal flora.

I guess I’m looking for any advice, experiences, or things that have actually helped people with recurrent UTIs especially when antibiotic options are limited, and potentially any other women that have had this problem post pregancy.

Thanks in advance.
