I'm gold so I always get complimentary economy plus every flight and board group 1. When I was silver, I boarded group 2 but still never had issues finding economy plus seats 24hr before departure. My point is - there's usually plenty of economy plus seats. How is it that there are so many people boarding group 1, then end up sitting in the back? Are these people paying for group 1 boarding or something? Group 1 is so packed and I would think that at least 80% of group one is FC or economy plus. It's barely 50% on most flights, if that.
