My 2025 Mac Mini crashes every time I try to edit a heading in a report using Microsoft Word. I tried a range of things which didn’t work.

1. Tried various reports and heading styles.
2. Copying and pasting an entire report into a new blank document.
3. Numerous force quits.
4. Ensured there was sufficient memory.
5. Engaged a technician from Geekify. He repeated the above steps then tried other things.
6. Made sure the version of Microsoft Word was the latest version with all updates completed.

The technician thinks there was a recent Microsoft Word update causing the headings glitch. The next course of action is to install an older version of Microsoft Word to see if this works.
