Queer Road Cycling Groups?
Hey! Does anyone know of any queer / queer friendly road cycling groups? I am pretty new to it and would love to join a group for additional motivation and community.

The city has opened up naming the new community center to Fort Collins residents https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/8912293/Southeast-Community-Center-Name-Submission-Form . It is free form, but there are some criteria.
Not to sway anyone, but I think it would be awesome to name it the "Grafton St. Clair Norman Community Center". The reason I believe in the name is a perfect fit is -
Grafton St. Clair Norman was the first African American to attend and graduate from CSU way back in 1896! He was also an assistant teacher, making him the first person of color to be an instructor at CSU.
After college he went on to serve in the Spanish-American war and World War 1, was an educator in Kentucky and Alabama, and worked with the Union Central Relief Association that sought to insure black americans who were unable to get coverage with most other insurance companies.
He dedicated his life to public service, lifting up communities, and educating those around him.
Naming the community center after him continues to illustrates the accepting nature that is central to Fort Collins' DNA. It is who we are as a community.

Hey everyone, I know this sub isn't a replacement for seeing a doctor, but we have been unable to get any assistance for my friend, who I'll call J.
J was a collegiate cyclist, swimmer, and all around super athlete. Additionally, she is a brilliant woman who was bubbly, full of life, and seemingly unlimited energy & positivity.
Timeline:
Back in jan of 2025 J broke things off with her fiance.
Early in the year she found out her masters advisor will be leaving her college and moving cross country (she decided to follow her)
in april she got mono
In june she started climbing mount whitney where she caught west nile virus.
Then in august she caught covid.
Finally in September she moved cross country.
Symptoms:
So at some point between covid and moving, she started feeling severe exhaustion. It would come and go, so J assumed she would be able to push through things.
Come October, she flew home from my wedding, she was not doing well... she decided to extend her stay so she could recover while living with her parents.
Jump forward to December... this is where things got really really bad. The story I was told is she drank some coconut water, which spiked her heart-rate to 165 and it stayed there for 10-12 hours. That was basically the last time she was able to leave her bed, move her arms, sit up, anything.
According to her parents, they have reached out to a number of long covid specialists and pulmonologist. Some have replied, but every doctor requires her to go into their office, and J's parents don't feel comfortable bringing her in anywhere.
The only doctor she has seen was her PCP, who told her she had post viral fatigue and dysautonomia. She had some bloodwork done and the PCP said they didnt know how to help J... but they didnt refer her out.
The final interesting thing is that when J gets her period she literally sleeps for 10 straight days, no cognitive abilities during that time.
So, I have a number of questions.
What could this possibly be? How could someone be unable to move their body for this long without it being something like ALS?
What clinics in the states could I get her in to that would also be willing to see her remotely? I know her parents will not consent to bring her anywhere.
Is it possible that her parents haven't actually applied to get her in anywhere? It seems incredible that no doctor would be willing to see her?
On the personal side, is there anything my wife and I can do to help?
Literally any suggestions or direction or anything at all helps.
Thank you!!
