Local Gov candidate booklet sux, so do your research, voters

Having received my voting pack this week, I wonder how any Tasmanian is supposed to make a sensible vote based on what little information is contained within it. There seems to be no requirement for candidates to reveal anything about their history, including - in the case of my own electorate - party political affiliations, roles in previous councils that were dysfunctional, and at least two candidates who have very clear conflicts of interest from their business lives.

But no one would know any of this based on the pathetic statements made in the candidate booklet. It's all, "I believe that children are the future and the sun will come up tomorrow". Nothing of any substance.

I imagine the TEC can only work with the rules it's given, but this is so, so disappointing.

Before you vote, please take a moment to see who is who and encourage your family and friends to so the same.

Campaigning from Cold City to Hot War?

I'm a noob who got onboard the recent Kickstarter. These games seem to have a small but dedicated following, but there's not a huge amount of community info out there... and the books themselves don't seem to answer this question at first glance (as an aside, you can tell these were written by an academic because... why use one word when five will do).

My obvious question: with Cold City set in 1950 Berlin, and Hot War in 1963 London, has anyone played a linked campaign of surviving PCs crossing from on to the other?

Any other play reports or thoughts invited. Thank you :)

Manually tracking reps on Venu 3... and is there a point?

Noob here. Been scanning through the sub but cannot find an answer. Any help appreciated.

I've set up custom strength workouts and turned off the auto rep count. But after each set, I just cannot find how to manually add the reps! It looks like I'm supposed to end the set with the bottom right button, which starts the next 'rest' and somehow use the same button to edit the rep count? But that just triggers the next exercise?

But then I'm also reading there may not be a point to this, as the Garmin doesn't track any increase in your reps and weights? So you cannot build on a PB from session-to-session? You just have to remember it all and re-enter it in Garmin Connect?

If I'm right, well, I can get $2 app on my iphone that'll do that for me and the usefulness of the Garmin, for me personally, is questionable.

Or am I wrong? Any advice welcome! Thank you.
